CLEAR BAG POLICY
In order to provide a safe environment for guests and expedite the entry process for patrons at the Expo Center of Taylor County, the West Texas Fair & Rodeo has implemented a clear bag policy that limits the style and size of bags brought in. All bags are subject to search upon entry to the fairgrounds.
Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC. Bags cannot exceed 12’ x 6’ x 12’. Small clutch purses, approximately 4.5’ x 6.5’ (the size of an average adult hand), may be taken inside and do not have to be clear. Clear one-gallon freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar) are permitted. Diaper bags and medically necessary bags are subject to thorough inspection.
No liquids may be brought onto the fairgrounds, unless necessary (baby formula, medically necessary liquids). Alcohol will not be brought onto the fairgrounds. Thank you for complying with the West Texas Fair & Rodeo’s policy and helping us ensure safety at the West Texas Fair & Rodeo.
